why i love seedy sunday. the long version

Just think, at this time next week you can be looking at all the great seeds you got at Seedy Sunday & really starting dreaming of your garden for Spring.
I am getting really excited for this Sunday March 13th. Another year, another season, another Seed Exchange. This is the 6th year that the Peterborough Seed Exchange has hosted this event. This is the 4th (?) year that we have been at St. James United Church. I think it is gonna be great.
Remember to check out all the vendors ahead of time if you are one of those gardeners who likes to make a list? **Warning no matter how organized you come ahead of time, you will be tempted by the cornucopia of possibilities that exist in that room!!
There will be enough seed in that room to fill this church full of food, and produce millions more little seeds that could fill many churches full of food, and produce millions more little seeds, and grow more and more food, and, well i think you get the picture.
so come out, support your local seed savers and community groups, get some locally grown, organic and heirloom seeds. meet your farmer, get some knowledge and resources. connect with your friends that you haven't seen since last season, or may not have time to catch up with after the farming season comes fully upon us. dream of future gardens, plan your garden for this season, and mostly, get inspired for Spring!
that's my long version, of why i love Seedy Sunday. hope to see you all there!
